Ronald 'Buddy' WalksHorse
was born an "August Child" in 1956 ~ the Year Of The Monkey. Growing up facing the Nuclear Threat, education came
second to the daily drill of "Stop, Drop and Cover" in the event that The Bomb was dropped. This constant living on
the edge installed a need for survival that has carried him throughout his life.
Ron is a caring and laid back type of person.
He is a Lakota Vietnam Veteran, A.I.M. Member ('Knee of '73 Veteran), Traditional Dancer and Professional Firefighter.
His interest in music began at 6 years
of age after recieving his first harmonica from an elderly Blues man that he admired and respected. Growing
up during the '60s where freedom and expression thrived in music, love and living his many influences naturally include John
Lennon, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Hendrix, Neil Young, Billy ThunderCloud, Buffy St.Marie, Rita Coolidge and good friend Buddy
RedBow.
His hobbies include Archeology, Martial Arts, Quick Draw, Western History and Re-enactment, Metal Sculpture, Traditonal
Beadwork and Crafts.
Ron currently resides in Hinckley, Utah
